September 7, 2008: Tony Augustine of Lemon Cove, CA. Served in the 310th
Combat Engineer Battalion of the 85th Infantry Division. Tony earned a Silver
Star when he dove into the icy Panaro River in Italy, swimming across and
cutting wires to defuse explosives German soldiers had attached to a bridge.
Two entire divisions would cross over that bridge.
