April 3, 2010: Charles D. "Mac" McMullen of Fresno, CA. Served with the 106th
Infantry Division and became a prisoner of war in Europe. After his capture on
December 19, 1944, he spent time in four different German prison camps: first
Stalag XII-A, followed by Stalag IV-B, then Stalag III-B, and finally Stalag III-A,
after a 100-mile march.
